As we continue through this challenging period following the MyIntealth launch, we recognize that external factors, including immigration policy changes, add to the uncertainty. I want to provide you with an update on processing status, share information about our team’s current work, and ensure you have the resources needed to move forward. In September 2025, our team processed 3,800 ECFMG Certificates, 6,200 Pathways applications, 17,000 MSPEs, and 16,700 transcript transmissions. While these numbers reflect our staff’s dedication, we recognize that there is still much work to be done. We recognize the tremendous contributions you all make to our health care systems as trainees. Our focus remains on reducing backlogs, strengthening our system, and improving turnaround times so that we can better serve you. We are making steady progress and we will continue to provide updates as we move forward.

U.S. Program Director Outreach
As you know, U.S. program directors began accessing Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) applications on September 24. In advance of the September 24 opening of the Program Director’s WorkStation (PDWS), we communicated directly to program directors that processing times would likely extend beyond that date and encouraged them to revisit the PDWS regularly to view the most up-to-date applicant information.
Additionally, the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) sent a similar message to program directors prior to September 24, with an added note encouraging them to review applications multiple times and track document updates. This coordinated outreach reinforced the importance of checking for updates throughout the interview season and avoiding final interview decisions based solely on September data.
We continue to engage with residency programs to ensure consideration of all qualified applicants throughout the Match process.
