You can use a 2027 Token to register at the MyERAS website of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), effective Wednesday, June 24, 2026, and begin work on your residency application.<\/p>\n<p>If you plan to apply for U.S. residency positions that begin in July 2027, visit the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/eras\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ERAS Support Services<\/a>\u00a0section of the ECFMG website for important information and instructions on how to obtain an ERAS Token.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important Note(s):<\/strong><br \/>\nSome specialties and programs do not participate in ERAS. Before you request an ERAS 2027 Token, make sure you plan to apply to at least one participating program. If you are applying to certain residency specialties, including Emergency Medicine, and Obstetrics and Gynecology, please see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/eras\/residencycas.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Support for ResidencyCAS Residency Application Services<\/a>\u00a0for information on how ECFMG can support your application.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible to participate in the National Resident Matching Program<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0(NRMP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>) Main Residency Match<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0(The Match<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>), NRMP requires that international medical graduates meet the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/certification\/#reqs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">examination requirements for ECFMG Certification<\/a>\u00a0and that their passing results\/satisfactory completion of these requirements are available by the NRMP\u2019s Rank Order List Certification deadline. If you need to meet the examination requirements for ECFMG Certification and plan to participate in the 2027 Match, you must read the examination requirements carefully before requesting a 2027 ERAS Token.
