{"id":4552,"date":"2021-12-23T11:37:27","date_gmt":"2021-12-23T16:37:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/news\/?p=4552"},"modified":"2021-12-23T11:53:59","modified_gmt":"2021-12-23T16:53:59","slug":"fee-increases-for-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/news\/2021\/12\/23\/fee-increases-for-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Fee Increases for 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Effective January 1, 2022, fees for the following ECFMG applications\/service requests will increase:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The fee for Application for ECFMG Certification will be $160.<\/li>\n<li>The examination fees for United States Medical Licensing Examination<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> (USMLE<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>) Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) will be $985 for each exam registration.<\/li>\n<li>The fee for an extension of eligibility period for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK will be $100.<\/li>\n<li>The fee for a change of testing region for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK will be $90.<\/li>\n<li>The fee for a Certification Verification Service (CVS) request will be $66.<\/li>\n<li>The fee for an application for J-1 visa sponsorship will be $370.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new fees will be assessed for all applications\/requests submitted to ECFMG on or after January 1, 2022 (Eastern Time in the United States).
