You can use a 2022 Token to register at the MyERAS website of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), effective Thursday, June 24, 2021, and begin work on your residency application.<\/p>\n<p>If you plan to apply for U.S. residency positions that begin in July 2022, visit the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/eras\/\">ERAS Support Services<\/a>\u00a0section of the ECFMG website for important information and instructions on how to obtain an ERAS Token.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT NOTE: <\/strong>In response to the suspension and subsequent discontinuation of the United States Medical Licensing Examination<sup>\u00ae <\/sup>(USMLE<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>) Step 2 Clinical Skills (CS) exam by the USMLE program, ECFMG|FAIMER has identified Pathways that will allow qualified IMGs who have not passed Step 2 CS to meet the clinical and communication skills requirements for ECFMG Certification. For IMGs who apply for and satisfy all requirements for a Pathway and have passing performances on USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) that are valid for ECFMG Certification, ECFMG will verify to the National Resident Matching Program<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> (NRMP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>) that they have met the examination requirements for ECFMG Certification.
