Qualified international medical graduates (IMGs) who need to meet the clinical and communication skills requirements for ECFMG<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Certification and who intend to participate in the 2022 National Resident Matching Program<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> (NRMP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>) Main Residency Match<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> (The Match<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>) can apply to a Pathway to meet these requirements for ECFMG Certification and the requirements for Match participation.<\/p>\n<p>The information available on ECFMG\u2019s website includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/certification-requirements-2022-match\">Eligibility requirements and detailed instructions<\/a> for applying to Pathways 1-5, including information on required documentation and application timing. Also included is important information for medical schools and for 2021 Pathway applicants.<\/li>\n<li>Access to the on-line <a href=\"https:\/\/pathways.ecfmg.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Application for Pathways for ECFMG Certification for 2022 Match<\/a> for Pathways 1-5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/news\/2021\/01\/26\/ecfmgfaimer-will-offer-expanded-pathways-for-2022-match\/\">announced previously<\/a>, ECFMG|FAIMER has added a sixth Pathway for 2022. The application process for Pathway 6 is expected to open in July.
