However, because of necessary annual modifications to the test item pools, delays occur for examinees who test at certain times of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The United States Medical Licensing Examination\u00ae (USMLE\u00ae) has announced that examinees testing during the following dates may experience delays in score reporting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Step 1 <\/strong>examinees testing early May through early July 2020 &#8211; more specific information will be posted\u00a0<strong>January 2020<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 2 CK <\/strong>examinees testing late June through late August 2020 &#8211; more specific information will be posted\u00a0<strong>March 2020<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why is this important to know?<\/p>\n<p>If you need to receive a score before a certain date, plan to take that exam before the projected score delay windows to avoid missing deadlines.<\/p>\n<p>Examinees should monitor the <a href=\"https:\/\/usmle.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">USMLE website<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) scores are reported within four weeks of testing.
