{"id":2107,"date":"2016-12-28T17:29:08","date_gmt":"2016-12-28T17:29:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/news\/?p=2107"},"modified":"2016-12-28T17:29:08","modified_gmt":"2016-12-28T17:29:08","slug":"fee-increases-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/news\/2016\/12\/28\/fee-increases-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Fee Increases for 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Effective January 1, 2017, fees for the following ECFMG applications\/service requests will increase:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Application for ECFMG Certification fee will be $75.<\/li>\n<li>The examination fees for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) will be $895 for each exam registration.<\/li>\n<li>The examination fee for USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills (CS) will be $1,550 for each exam registration.<\/li>\n<li>The fee for rescheduling a Step 2 CS testing appointment will be 0-$1,280 (depending on date of cancellation).<\/li>\n<li>The J-1 visa sponsorship application fee will be $325.<\/li>\n<li>The fee for a Certification Verification Service (CVS) request will be $40.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new fees will be assessed for all applications\/requests submitted to ECFMG on or after January 1, 2017 (Eastern Time in the United States).<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the fees associated with applying for ECFMG Certification and for USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Step 2 CS, refer to the ECFMG <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/resources\/publications.html#ib\" target=\"_blank\">2017 <em>Information Booklet<\/em><\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/fees\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Fees<\/a> page of the ECFMG website.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Effective January 1, 2017, fees for the following ECFMG applications\/service requests will increase: The Application for ECFMG Certification fee will be $75.
