ECFMG has been processing applications for the United States Medical Licensing Examination<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> (USMLE<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>) for applicants from Sudan. However, ECFMG has not been processing certain other service requests not related to administration of USMLE, pending approval of its license application for Sudan by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. ECFMG has been advised that OFAC approved the license application effective March 1, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>ECFMG would like to thank all applicants and client organizations for their patience and cooperation throughout this situation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ECFMG is pleased to announce that it will resume processing of service requests in relation to applicants from and institutions in Sudan.
