Cassimatis, MD, has been selected by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) Foundation as the 2016 recipient of the George Tarjan Award. This award recognizes a physician who has made significant contributions to the enhancement of the integration of international medical graduates (IMGs) into American psychiatry.
