This change will affect examinees whose first day of testing is on or after <strong>January 1, 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As stated in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usmle.org\/bulletin\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>USMLE Bulletin of Information<\/em><\/a> and as explained in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usmle.org\/announcements\/default.aspx?ContentId=165\" target=\"_blank\">previous posting<\/a> to the USMLE website, the minimum passing score for each USMLE Step examination is reviewed periodically and may be adjusted at any time.<\/p>\n<p>Examinees should <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usmle.org\/announcements\/?ContentId=168\" target=\"_blank\">read the full announcement<\/a> on the USMLE website.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The recommended Step 3 minimum passing score will change from 190 to 196.
