Category 4 applicants are those who apply to the Medical Council for registration from medical schools located outside of the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland. The Medical Council now requires these applicants to have their medical education credentials primary-source verified through EPIC before submitting their registration applications to the Medical Council.
