ECFMG recently experienced an unexpected outage of its on-line services. The outage began when ECFMG was unable to restart its on-line services successfully following a required electrical shutdown at its offices in Philadelphia. All on-line services—including our external-facing web-based services, internal processing systems, and APIs for client organizations—were affected.
We are pleased to share that all on-line services are now available.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this situation and thank you for your patience and understanding.
Although all services now are available, there is likely to be a delay in processing service requests, such as Applications for ECFMG Certification and exam applications, and in responding to e-mail inquiries. We are working diligently to eliminate these delays. In the interim, if you have sent an e-mail inquiry, please try not to send follow-up inquiries on the same topic. We will respond to your original inquiry as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
