2002 Information Booklet / USMLE Application Materials Are Now Available

The 2002 ECFMG Information Booklet and Application Materials for USMLE Step 1/Step 2 are now available on the Publications Page of the ECFMG website.

You can use the 2002 USMLE application to apply for USMLE Step 1/Step 2 eligibility periods with an ending date in 2002. The first 2002 USMLE eligibility period is November 2001-January 2002.

You can download and submit the 2002 application immediately, provided you meet the eligibility requirements for the exam(s) for which you apply.

Printed copies of the 2002 Information Booklet / Application Materials are expected to be available for mailing in mid-September. You can contact ECFMG for a copy of these materials as an alternative to downloading them from the ECFMG website, although you should allow approximately four weeks for delivery after the materials become available in mid-September. The materials that ECFMG sends in response to such requests are identical to the materials that are currently available on the ECFMG website. If you send a request by fax or mail, ECFMG will hold your request until the printed 2002 materials become available. If you wish to make a request by telephone, you should postpone your request until the 2002 materials become available in mid-September.
