Due to inclement weather, ECFMG’s Philadelphia office is closed Monday, January 25, and we are unable to take your calls. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Please monitor the ECFMG website for updates.
ECFMG is following events related to the major earthquake that occurred recently in Nepal. We extend our sympathies to all affected by this tragedy. We are also aware of the potential disruptions this situation may cause for IMGs in using ECFMG’s programs and services. These disruptions include, but are not limited to, the inability to schedule and take examinations, and to locate important documents.
If you are an IMG in an area of Nepal affected by the earthquake, we stand ready to assist you in overcoming such disruptions. Contact ECFMG:
- by e-mail at email@example.com. Please include your full name and USMLE ID Number, if one has been assigned. Be sure to include the ECFMG service with which we can assist you and instructions on how to contact you.
- by telephone at (215) 386-5900. Telephone assistance is available 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time in the United States, Monday through Friday.
Additional information will be posted to the ECFMG website as it becomes available.
The Clinical Skills Evaluation Collaboration (CSEC) test center in Philadelphia will be closed Monday, October 29 and Tuesday, October 30, 2012 due to weather conditions. All Step 2 Clinical Skills (CS) examinations scheduled at the Philadelphia test center on those dates have been cancelled.
Examinees scheduled to take the Step 2 CS exam at the Philadelphia test center October 29-30 are being contacted via telephone and email. If you were scheduled to take Step 2 CS in Philadelphia on October 29 or 30, please check your voicemail or email for information. CSEC staff will be in contact with affected examinees later in the week concerning make-up examinations.
Please check the USMLE website for updated information about when the Philadelphia test center will be re-opened. We will provide updates as they become available.
We understand the inconvenience that this closure causes and appreciate your patience as we work to accommodate all examinees whose scheduled exams were cancelled due to the storm.
