FAIMER Sponsorship Opportunity: 2015 Projects That Work Competition

ECFMG’s nonprofit foundation, the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER®), sponsors a Projects That Work competition as part of the annual conference of The Network: Towards Unity for Health (TUFH). The competition showcases projects in health professions education that have had a sustained, significant impact on health, the community, or the school, and it is intended to encourage the ongoing development and implementation of such projects. FAIMER will sponsor one representative from up to five selected projects to attend the conference and present their projects at a panel session.

This year, The Network: TUFH and the South African Association of Health Educationalists (SAAHE) will host a joint conference in Gauteng Province, South Africa, September 12-16, 2015. The Projects That Work competition will showcase projects that have been successfully addressing missions related to the 2015 conference theme, “Education for Change,” for three years or longer.

FAIMER sponsorship includes air travel, hotel accommodation, and conference registration fee for representatives of the five winning projects. To submit a project description for the Projects That Work competition and apply for FAIMER sponsorship, click here. Applications are due May 15, 2015.

Visit the FAIMER news page to read about last year’s conference and Projects That Work competition winners.

More information about the 2015 joint conference will be published to The Network: TUFH website as it becomes available.
