ERAS Support Services for Applicants

Using MyERAS

The AAMC MyERAS website is the gateway to the entire ERAS application process. Once you have obtained your ERAS Token from ECFMG, you will be able to use MyERAS to:

  • Register using your Token and obtain your AAMC Identification Number
  • Create your Profile
  • Complete and certify your on-line application
  • Create Personal Statements
  • Select and apply to your preferred programs
  • Create and manage your ERAS application and document assignments for all of your programs
  • Track the status of your ERAS application via the Applicant Document Tracking System (ADTS)
  • Utilize the MyERAS message center to contact ERAS Support Services at ECFMG

The AAMC publishes a series of comprehensive tutorials on using the MyERAS site. These tutorials will show you how to register at MyERAS, how to complete your application, how to apply to a program, how to set up your account, and how to manage your documents. Important Dates:

September 15: NRMP registration for the 2015 Match opens at 12:00 p.m. on the NRMP website.

September 15: Applicants may begin applying to ACGME-accredited programs through the MyERAS website.

September 15: ERAS Support Services strongly recommends that MSPEs arrive at ECFMG no later than September 15 if submitted electronically through OASIS. This timeline does not apply to international medical schools that are electronically submitting your MSPE through the EMSWP ERAS program. Documents submitted by medical schools via EMSWP will be processed and transmitted within two business days.

October 1: MSPEs are released to ACGME-accredited programs.

Reminder: ERAS Support Services at ECFMG does not accept paper documents in support of ERAS residency applications. All supporting documents must be submitted electronically via one of the available methods.

Documents uploaded using ECFMG’s OASIS and AAMC’s LoR Portal will take one to two weeks to process.

Monitor the ADTS section of AAMC’s MyERAS website to track the status of your ERAS application.
